Dr. Sinead Conroy MICGP, FRACGP, PhD
Sinead graduated from University College Cork in 1989. She trained in Internal Medicine in the UK before moving to Australia in 1992, where she continued her training in The Prince Charles Hospital and Royal Brisbane Hospital in Queensland. She was awarded a Queensland Cancer Fund Research Fellowship in 1995 and completed a PhD in Molecular Biology in the Queensland Institute of Medical Research in 2000. She also trained in General Practice in Australia and worked in many urban and remote locations there.
Sinead returned to Ireland in 2006 and has been working in General Practice in Dublin since then. Her areas of interest include internal medicine, care of the elderly, women’s health and travel medicine. Sinead is married with 3 children and enjoys hiking, kayaking and scuba diving.
Dr. Jessica Lynch MBChB, MRCGP
Jess graduated from UCD in 2008 and completed her Intern year at the Mater Hospital before travelling to New Zealand where she worked in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She moved to Northern Ireland in 2010 and completed her GP training in Belfast in 2014.
She has been working in Ireland since then and is interested in Sexual Health, Mental Health and Paediatrics. She holds a diploma in Mental Health. She is married with 3 children. She enjoys playing hockey, tennis and sea swimming. She is also a strong advocate for active travel.
Dr. Rosemarie FitzGerald MRSCI, FRCPath, MSc, MICGP
Rosemarie graduated from UCD in 2004. She holds postgraduate qualifications in Surgery (MRCSI, 2007), Pathology (FRCPath, 2012) in addition to a MSc in Microbiology from the Queen Mary University of London (2014). She worked as a Consultant Microbiologist in the UK for several years before deciding to train in General Practice. She completed her GP training in Donegal in 2021 and has worked in several practices since then. She is also kept busy with 2 young children.
Dr. Paddy McGuire MBChB, BSc(Biomed), MRCGP
From Donegal originally, Paddy graduated in medicine from the University of Glasgow in 2015, subsequently qualifying as a GP in 2019. He returned to Ireland in 2023.
Outside work he is kept busy with a young family and enjoys going to gigs, running and watching almost any sports.
Nurse Christine O'Connor
Christine graduated from the School of Nursing in Christchurch, New Zealand. She has extensive experience having worked as a General Practice Nurse for over 30 years.
Nurse Katie Bennett
Katie graduated with a BSc in General Nursing from Trinity College Dublin in 2023. She has been working as a Staff Nurse in Tallaght Hospital and will join Bayview Medical in September.

Anne Watson, Ruth Cleary & Sarah Byrne are our highly skilled medical receptionists who bring many years of experience & know-how to the Practice. We are sorry to announce that Mary Lynch has retired since the end of August (2024) after many years of service, and we wish her all the very best.
